Mickey DeAngelo

Mickey started his career as a staffer and scheduler for Cleveland Clinic’s main campus. That was just the beginning, as he spent 15 years in various positions at Cleveland Clinic. Most notable to his current role was his time as a Success Manager for Call Center Workforce Management, where he had his first experience with enterprise technology implementations and key workforce management principles. From there, Mickey became Program Manager for Workforce Optimization, where he led the implementation of UKG across the organization. He then joined Bon Secours Mercy Health to oversee their ProWFM upgrade from Workforce Central, as well as to stand up a Central Staffing Office and consolidate pay practices. Mickey was promoted to Director of Workforce Technology — a key milestone in his career. In that role, he not only oversaw technology delivery but also became a key leader in developing a workforce management program focused on the alignment of technology, process, and policy, based on defined WFM principles. His execution of this program was sustained through strong governance and change management. During that time, Mickey spoke at numerous UKG events and founded a healthcare user community that has since grown to over 100 organizations. His leadership in this space earned him the Insider of the Year award in 2023. Mickey brought that success to UKG as Senior Manager over Healthcare Strategy, where he now helps other organizations realize similar achievements. He is continuing that same mission today.
